In Ballplayer's 'Scorekeeper Setup', select your game, adjust lineups, and set positions. With everything set, you're ready to begin scorekeeping!

5.2 Scorekeeping Basics

In 'Scorekeeping Basics', explore Ballplayer's five scorekeeping tabs: 'scoring', 'lineups', 'feed', 'stats', and 'scorekeeper'. Navigate the intuitive layout for game actions, adjust for errors, and confirm play outcomes. Designed for ease, Ballplayer ensures accurate event order for a smooth scorekeeping experience.

5.3 Adjust Lineup

In 'Adjust Lineup', learn how to make real-time game changes using the 'player change' button on the 'scoring' tab. Swap players, adjust positions, introduce pinch hitters or runners, and edit player information via the 'lineups' tab.

5.4 Scorekeeping Handoff

In 'Scorekeeping Handoff', learn the ease of transferring scorekeeping roles mid-game. Navigate to the 'score keeper' tab, choose from the team's roster using the dropdown, and hit 'send scorekeeping duties'. Only current scorekeepers can initiate this, and the new scorekeeper must accept the notification to assume the role.

5.5 End a Game

In 'End A Game', learn the steps to conclude your scorekeeping duties. Either finish all innings or manually end early via the 'game status' button. Fill out the pitching stats for both teams, and for clarity on stats, refer to the 'stats reference' page.

6.1 Following Players

In 'Following Players', we explore the benefits of tracking players' performances, perfect for fans, family, coaches, and more. By following, you get updates on their gameplay in the feed tab. Customize notifications and choose to follow individual players or entire teams. Search and manage who you follow with ease.

6.2 Following vs. Joining a Team

In 'Following vs Joining a Team', understand the distinction: following a team offers updates on its schedule and play, while joining means you have a specific role, like coach, player or admin. Your joined teams appear under 'your teams' and followed teams under 'following' in your profile. Both types provide game insights, but only joined team members join group chats.

7.1 Feed Tab - General Info.

In 'Feed Tab - General Info', learn about the feed tab's offerings: it aggregates updates from players, teams, leagues, and tournaments you follow into tiles, with the latest info on top. Each tile is tailored to highlight key details about one entity. Some tiles, like those for live player and team games, are dynamic and update in real time with scorekeeper entries. To dive deeper into specific tile types, our next video covers the 'Player Game' Feed Tile.

7.2 Game - Player Feed Tile

In 'Game - Player Feed Tile', we explore the dynamic tile from a player's game. At the top, you see the player's name and the last update time. The game preview offers context, while the latest play keeps you updated in real-time. Dive into detailed stats for offense, defense, and pitching, along with plate appearance and pitching summaries.

7.3 Game - Team Feed Tile

In 'Game - Team Feed Tile', we explore the tile designed for a team's game. This dynamic tile shows team details, latest play, and box score as the game unfolds. Click on the tile for an in-depth view mirroring the scorekeeping layout, showcasing game visuals, play-by-play, stats, and lineups. This tile keeps you updated on your team's progress.

In 'Stats Reference', we guide you on clarifying stats. Unsure about a stat abbreviation? Simply click on it for a pop-up explanation in most places. Additionally, the 'stat reference' page in the app menu houses details on all stats. Navigate to the hamburger icon, top left, to access this comprehensive guide. This ensures you're never in the dark about any statistic!

9. Message

9.1 Individual/Group/Team Messages

In 'Individual/Group/Team Messages', we explore Ballplayer's messaging system. Three main threads exist: team communication, individual, and group. Team threads are auto-generated upon team creation, with all members included. Create individual or group chats by tapping the pencil icon on the messages tab. Add multiple users, set group names, and start chatting. For group chats, the top-right three dots let you add members, edit group names, and view participant lists.

10.1 Notification Management

In 'Notification Management', we delve into managing Ballplayer notifications. View new alerts via the bell icon on the 'feed', 'my profile', and 'messages' tabs, marked by a red dot. Notifications are chronological and deletable. Adjust frequency in 'notification settings' in the menu, toggling off unnecessary alerts. Stay in control of what info you receive!

10.2 How to Report Inappropriate Behavior

In 'How to Report Inappropriate Behavior', we guide users on handling in-app misconduct. Ballplayer values safety and user experience. To report or block a user, visit their profile and tap the top right flag icon. Describe the issue for our team's review. Together, let's ensure a secure environment for all baseball and softball enthusiasts!
